So it is no secret that I was not a fan of Emerald Fennell’s 2020 film Promising Young Woman BUT I do enjoy Emerald as a writer SOOO I am actually pretty excited for her next film Saltburn.
It is very much your typical (take a deep breath) “Weird person meets an eccentric rich hot person and they become friends but like there is something really creepy about it and why did you invite me to your big ass house with your weird rich family members where 3/10 of them have Manson Lamps1?” kinda story.
Can’t wait to see how we end up here ‘cos this is a MESS.
