LOL SO — I’ve been like wildly busy this week and probably will next week too but also didn’t have a chance to watch many movies because I have been catching up on telly. I will say I watched Natural Born Killers for the first time and WAS NOT FUCKING EXPECTING THAT!
Also this is happening:
The world of media (which is my world ‘cos duh) has been in a bit of a tizzy this week cos of the Twitter drama. It may seem weird that it’s so connected but it’s not weird at all. It’s been dope to see how many Black folks, especially Black queer folks, got their start in journalism and media because of Twitter. But it’s been equally as sad to see them talk about how they are worried about what the changes on the site will do for their careers.
I’m a positive Patty so while I am smart enough to know that all this shit is a tad scary and will def cause some massive shakeups in media — I am also positive that we will all do what we need to move with the shift and in the end it will all work out for us in the best of ways in the end.

Again — no one reads TUDUM from netflix because they are SHIT at marketing it BUT it often has really great pieces on it and this one gives a really dope timeline of all things The Crown 1-4 in case you’re as excited about season 5 as I am.
Speaking of The Crown season 5, I’m watching it and UHOH….I’m not having a great time and I am not finished BUT so far I am up to episode 5 and:
The Peter Townsend storyline wrap-up (3/5)
The chat about Fergie but only seeing her like 3 times and giving her zero lines (4/5)
Lesley Manville as Princess Margot (5/5)
Attention to detail when it comes to bringing Diana’s 90s wardrobe to life (3.5/5)
Tampongate being put to that beautiful part of the score LOL (5/5)
